Marché du Tchad

Fees and wallet policy

A transparent system that protects both sides

1. Free buying and rewards

Buying on Marché is free for the buyer. Buyers also receive cashback and loyalty points in their wallet after they confirm receipt.

2. Seller commission

A 1% commission is charged to the seller after a successful in-app sale. It is not taken in cash at handover; it is recorded as a due fee and deducted from the wallet when the deal completes if the balance covers it.

3. Frozen accounts and unpaid fees

Due fees may accumulate up to the allowed cap. Beyond that, new purchase requests or extra listings are frozen until the seller tops up and pays.

4. Wallet top-up

Sellers can top up through supported local payment methods to pay fees and reactivate the account. Extra balance stays for future commissions.

5. Amana fees

Amana is optional and holds the buyer’s payment until delivery. Fees are shown to the buyer before they pay Marché.
